After the Las Vegas massacre, 59 dead, the Republican Representatives and Senators offered up their ‘thoughts and prayers’ for the victims.

And they did nothing.

After the Orlando nightclub massacre, 49 dead, the Republican Representatives and Senators offered up their ‘thoughts and prayers’ for the victims.

And they did nothing.

After the San Bernardino massacre, 14 dead, the Republican Representatives and Senators offered up their ‘thoughts and prayers’ for the victims.

And they did nothing.

After the Charleston church massacre, 9 dead, the Republican Representatives and Senators offered up their ‘thoughts and prayers’ for the victims.

And they did nothing.

After the Sandy Hook massacre, 27 dead, the Republican Representatives and Senators offered up their ‘thoughts and prayers’ for the victims.

And they did nothing.

There were hundreds more but you get the point.

Lot of ‘thoughts and prayers’.

Every week arsenals pour into our inner cities though gun show loopholes resulting in staggering body counts.

And for the inner-city blood baths, The Republican Representatives and Senators can’t even take the time to offer up their ‘thoughts and prayers’ because the victims of this carnage are the disenfranchised, the working poor, people of color. And their political power has been gerrymandered out of existence.

Who are these spineless men and woman who condone these American massacres because they have prostituted themselves to the NRA?

Have they no conscience, no compassion, no soul? Is there nobody in the Republican Party man enough to stand up to our merchants of fear and violence? American carnage is happening before their very eyes and all they can do is offer up is their ‘thoughts and prayers’?

We will get no leadership on this issue from our new emperor. During the campaign, he suggested to his base that perhaps there was a 2nd amendment solution to Hillary. In other words, he floated the idea that someone should assassinate Hillary.

Where was the outrage?

These men and women of the Republican Party will do nothing because they have sold their souls to the NRA. If they were not moved by the gunning down of children at Sandy Hook, nothing can move them.

These were 5 and 6 year olds for God’s sake.

There’s this concept in American-the bigger the gun, the bigger the man, symbolized by our emperor, who lives in a hidden fear of others. It takes tremendous courage to be non-violence, as evidenced by the life of Gandhi, Martin Luther King and John Lewis, to name just a few.

We need American to confront the NRA. They are bullies who willingly sacrifice 5 year olds for profits.
