Our silence,  our apathy, provides the jet fuel for Fascism, sounding the death knell of our Democracy. 

People are disappearing…DISAPPEARING!! IN AMERICA.

Notice the four-tier construction design in both camps. It’s almost like we used the same architect to construct the El Salvador camps.

Make no mistake about it: Fascism is now on a full frontal assault to dismantle our Democracy. It’s happening at warped speed. Trump’s Mein Kampf, Project 2025, is in full swing to eviscerate our institutions. Every day springs forth a new outrage, a new purge, which we then normalize or sane-wash, while amnesia sets in on the previous day’s outrage. 

And then there’s this: 

And we turn our heads.

Like the Third Reich, the press is called an enemy of the people; LGBTQ are attacked or executed; oligarchs are courted; science is denounced; scapegoats are offered up; violence is validated; criminality is unchecked; BIG LIES are told over and over; books are burned; universities are attacked. 

We’ve seen this before.

We are way past the point of pointing out the daily hypocrisies that emerge from Trump’s Administration. Or saying, he was just kidding. He didn’t mean that. We are way past the point of thinking they will change their ways when we point out the lies. They aren’t interested in doing what is best for the American people; they are interested in power, pure and simple, and settling scores, both real and imagined.

We have to fight them in the courts, the legislature, and the streets. 

We can’t back down.

Democracy is not a static. It must be created every day, or we will lose it. Republicans depend on our apathy to sieze and keep power.
